DESCRIPTION

Business in Vancouver and Nancy Mackay CEO Forums have partnered to recognize and honour the top CEOs in British Columbia. An esteemed judging panel will choose CEOs who provide exemplary leadership in their organizations with the intention to give worthy individuals the recognition they deserves as well as to use their example to inspire other companies and business leaders to achieve similar success.

CEOs will be profiled in Business in Vancouver in mid-October. Then, they will be awarded at a dinner event on November 19, 2013. Each winner will have 5 minutes to share their leadership lessons to an audience of Vancouver’s business community.

Each year, an esteemed panel of judges select honourees based on the following criteria:

Vision, strategy and leadership
Financial performance
People Development
Innovation
Social Responsibility and Sustainability

Honourees are chosen in each of the following categories:

Large public company
Large private company
Small public
Small private
Publically Accountable

Nominees must be BC residents from an organization operating in BC with a minimum of three years demonstrated experience in the role of CEO or an equivalent position.
