DESCRIPTION

Work Holiday and Religious Worker Permits and Beyond is a half-day seminar taking place on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Segal Graduate School of Business in downtown Vancouver. This seminar is designed to provide immigration practitioners an in-depth, practical knowledge of how to obtain work permits for overseas religious workers and applicants wishing to gain Canadian work experience while on extended holidays. Topics include: Who qualifies for work permits and which countries have an agreement with Canada; Where to apply for a permit; Permit fees; Applicants' entry qualifications; Canadian Sponsors and what conditions must be met; Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC ) involvement, if any; Limitations of permits; Beyond working holiday and religious worker permits; and Case study.

This CPD is presented by Francis Ng, an immigration professional with more than 20 years' experience. Francis has seen firsthand the evolution of the immigration industry, and uses his real-world involvement to enhance his clients' experiences. For the past six years, Francis has been one of the Ashton College instructors teaching the Immigration Consultant Diploma and ICCRC Preparatory programs. Recently, he was appointed as the College's Program Director, Immigration Practitioner Programs.
