BBB Seminar: Debt Collection

In an ideal world, everyone pays their bills. Sadly, along with war, death, and taxes, overdue accounts are a fact of life for every business owner. Businesses sometimes may not have a coherent strategy for debt collection. Dan and Mitch will speak about identifying what, if any, assets your debtor has, and the "if, when, and how" of executing against those assets to satisfy the debt. They will also talk about when a "do-it-yourself" approach may be appropriate, and when the service of collection agencies, bailiffs and lawyers could be cost and time effective.
