Larry Summers is one of the most distinguished voices on the US economy, the global economy, and the role of the United States in the world. He started his career as a staffer on Ronald Reagan's Council of Economic Advisers, became the Chief Economist of the World Bank, the Secretary of the Treasury during the Clinton Administration, and the Director of the White House National Economic Council during the Obama Administration. He has also served as President of Harvard University.

According to Henry Kissinger, Larry Summers should "be given a White House post in which he is charged with shooting down or fixing bad ideas."
