Attendees will learn how to use social media to propel their own careers and their business further. They will learn how to take advantage of the major tools, including Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, and LinkedIn to demonstrate their expertise and garner more awareness and interest from potential market research clients. Attendees will learn how to separate business goals from personal goals, what is the right thing to say and do in each case, and determine the right tool to use to meet their specific objectives. The course is geared for market researchers with basic to intermediate experience using social media. Those with very little experience using Twitter and LinkedIn will benefit greatly. Intermediate attendees may want to bring their own laptop to follow along and try out the suggestions as we progress. Adventurous introductory attendees may also want to follow along, but they may have more difficulty due to the speed of the session. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions about their own social media pages.
