The now internationally known Lift Cannabis Expo has announced it will be hosting its next event in Vancouver.

The expo, which previously had been held in Toronto, will take place at the Vancouver convention centre January 12 to 14.

The Vancouver 2018 expo will feature an industry day and Lift Cannabis Business Conference on Friday January 12 before show floors open to the public.

This past May, Lift held their second annual Cannabis Expo, which attracted a record-breaking 15,000 people over three days.

The steadily growing event is scheduled just months before July 1, 2018, the date the Canadian government plans to legalize recreational marijuana use.

“The vision for the Lift Expo was to create a meeting place for all stakeholders—patients, industry, healthcare professionals and beyond—to collectively push the industry forward,” Matei Olaru, Lift CEO, said in a press release.

“The show’s phenomenal growth is validation of the need for such a space, and we’re thrilled to keep the momentum going and kick off 2018 with the Lift Cannabis Expo in Vancouver.”
