In a time when climate change has accelerated the pace of change of the physical world around us, focus has been made on the terrestrial and human changes, little on oceans and even less on deep oceans. For that reason, France's Office for Science and Technology in Canada is organizing on November 17th a free public panel discussion at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum on the “Impacts of climate change on deep oceans and biodiversity”.
Canadian and French scientists will address key challenges in understanding and predicting the impacts of climate change. The goal is also to generate cutting-edge ideas and knowledge that advance policy discussions and research.
Stay after the conference to meet the panelists and continue the discussion around Biodiversity & Deep Ocean with a glass of wine and some canapés.
Free admission, registration required
