RockStar Weekly, a Surrey-based online music magazine launched in 2009, now has a print edition.

The magazine’s publishers have printed 10,000 copies of the new music magazine, which will be available in retail stores across Canada. They plan to publish print editions six times a year.

The magazine, which sells for $5.95, covers music, movies, TV and fashion as well as national affairs and current events.

“The magazine and accompanying brand will provide a much‐needed sense of patriotism for Canadians, while showcasing homegrown talent like never before,” said Dan Savoie, the magazine’s publisher and editor.

In addition to the new print magazine, RockStar Weekly is also launching a new online radio show. The one-hour weekly music and entertainment radio program started broadcasting this week on stations in British Columbia and Ontario.

B.C. radio stations broadcasting the weekly radio show include 104.9 FM CKCL in Cranbrook and The Arrow 107.1 FM in Nakusp.
