Surrey used to be a haven for families escaping Vancouver’s unaffordable housing prices but it now appears soaring costs are afflicting the suburb. BIV reporter Patrick Blennerhassett joins the show to discuss Surrey’s growing problems when it comes to housing.

Later on, Resource Works executive director Stewart Muir calls in to discuss the environmental and economic impacts of the Site C dam.

Closing out the show is entertainment lawyer Lori Massini of Boughton Law, who says Vancouver's domestic film producers are having a tough time securing crews and locations as they try to compete with major Hollywood productions.
