The Canadian Youth Business Foundation has chosen six B.C. entrepreneurs to represent Canada at the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit (G20 YES) in Nice, France, this fall.
They will join 24 contemporaries from across Canada at the annual international summit, which will bring together dedicated and influential entrepreneurs from the G20 countries October 31 to November 2.
Delegates will work together to identify how governments and the corporate sector can best harness the potential of young entrepreneurs, raising awareness and providing a voice for young entrepreneurs around the globe.
The B.C. entrepreneurs are:
- Blo Blow Dry Bar co-founder Devon Brooks;
- D.L. Strategic Online co-founder and director Kassandra Linklater;
- Growing City founder and CEO Lisa von Sturmer;
- MetroLeap Media Inc. co-founder and CTO Milun Teovic;
- Solegear Bioplastics Inc. president and CEO Toby Reid; and
- Elastic Path Software Inc. co-founder and CEO Harry Chemko.
Chemko was a Business in Vancouver Fortyunder 40 winner in 2008.
