Canaccord Capital Inc. (TSX,AIM:CCI) has reported a 30% increase in revenue for the year and a 15% increase in net profits for its fiscal year ending March 31, 2007.
Revenue rose to $756.9 million compared with $583.4 million in fiscal 2006. The company's involvement in some of the biggest financial deals last year helped the company's top-line results.
Its investment banking arm Canaccord Adams led the financing for 174 transactions globally last year, raising more than $5.2 billion. Revenue from its investment arm rose 31.6% to $350.3 million. Profit for the year increased to $93.5 million compared with a 2006 profit of $81.2 million.
