Burnaby solar panel maker receives patent approvals in U.S., India and Mexico

Day4 Energy Inc. (TSX:DFE), a Burnaby-based solar panel manufacturer, has received patents in the U.S., India and Mexico for its for its proprietary Day4 Electrode used in its solar energy panels.

Day4 Energy Inc. (TSX:DFE), a Burnaby-based solar panel manufacturer, has received patents in the U.S., India and Mexico for its for its proprietary Day4 Electrode used in its solar energy panels.

The electrode replaces conventional soldering methods used in solar panel manufacturing. In addition to improving performance and the lifespan of a solar panel, Day4 says its technology lowers production costs.

In its first quarter of 2008, the company reported revenue of $13.5 million, up from $346,504 in the same period in 2007.
