Calgary's Evolution Presentation Technologies has acquired the Vancouver operation of Montreal-based Duocom Canada Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
The deal gives Evolution a footprint in every province in Western Canada, growing from its existing operations in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg and Thunder Bay.
Founded in 1969, Evolution has been expanding through acquisitions since 2003.
In addition to the Vancouver acquisition, Evolution and Duocom announced a strategic alliance, which will give them the capacity to offer clients professional AV services across the country.
Duocom offers AV services in four locations in Ontario, two in Quebec (Montreal and Quebec City), and in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
