Vancouver’s Clevest Solutions Inc. announced yesterday it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with China Telecom and Guangdong Future Information Technology.
The signing ceremony took place in Guangzhou, China, as part of Premier Christy Clark’s jobs and trade mission to China and India in November.
Clevest provides software for mobile workforce automation including smart grid management for utility companies.
Clevest already has successful deployments at China Southern Grid (CSG) and is deploying a mobile workforce management solution for the CSG project in Guangdong province.
Clevest will partner with China Telecom to provide workforce management and automatic vehicle location to utility companies in South China.
The MOU was signed by Doug Engerman, senior vice-president, global sales and marketing, for Clevest, and was witnessed by Clark and the vice-governor of Guangdong province.
