Europe's largest taxi company has signed a new contract with Digital Dispatch Systems Inc. (TSX:DD) to purchase between 4,000 and 5,000 new mobile computers over the next two to three years.
France-headquartered TAXIS G7 signed the new contract potentially worth more than $6 million for the company. Taxis is updating its taxi fleet and upgrading its existing onboard taxi systems with Digital Dispatch's new iPilot 8000. Taxis, which is expanding its 5,000-vehicle fleet, is one of Digital Dispatch's key customers, signing its first deal in September 2000.
