In an effort to focus on early cancer detection education for 2012, Vancouver-based charity FCancer has launched “Let's Fund 2012 Now.”
The organization’s mission is to convince Generation Y to engage with their parents about early cancer detection.
The non-profit is aiming to raise $175,000 in December to fund a full year of operational costs for the charity in 2012.
Donors can choose from three options: They can donate one day ($480), one week ($3,400) or one month ($14,500).
Yael Cohen, president, founder and CEO of FCancer, said, “We’re extremely excited to start the new year with several strong campaigns we currently have in development.”
“With funding for 2012 taken care of before January 1, we’ll be able to dedicate 100% of our time to executing these powerful and effective campaigns.”
