Bearclaw Capital Corp. (TSX-V:BRL) announced on Monday the sudden death of John B. Ross, its chairman and founder.
The company was founded in 1999 and is focused on two uranium explorations projects in Quebec and Eastern Canada. It also owns 10 copper-gold-silver properties in B.C.
According to the company's website, Ross was also director of Vancouver mineral explorer Prism Resources Inc. (TSX-V:PRS.H), Highwater Power and ST Systems.
The company provided no details about the cause of Ross' death or who would assume his place on the board. No one from the company could be reached by press time.
