Clyde Hertzman, director of the Human Early Learning Partnership and a professor at the University of British Columbia was named Canada’s Health Researcher of the Year at the 2010 Canadian Health Research Awards.

John Grieve of Fasken Martineau was named the Best Lawyers’ 2011 Vancouver Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Lawyer of the Year.

Julio Montaner, director of the BC Centre for Excellence for HIV/AIDS, received the 2010 Prix Galien Canada Award for his role in the development and expansion of the life-saving highly active antiretroviral therapy for HIV infection.
