Vancouver-headquartered Imperial Parking Corporation has been awarded multi-year contracts with Brookfield Properties to manage the parking operations of five buildings in Washington D.C.
The five facilities total 986 parking spaces and include both self-park and valet-assisted parking operations.
The contract is the latest addition to the portfolio of Brookfield properties Impark services. Last year, it won the contract to manage the parking facilities of two Virginia properties and another Washington D.C. location. In 2007, it was awarded the contract for a portfolio of properties in Maryland.
Impark is one of the largest parking management companies in North America with more than 2,000 locations and 3.700 employees. It has consistently ranked as one of the largest companies in B.C.
This year it ranked 44th on BIV’s list of largest private companies with more than $263 million in revenue last year, up from $249 million in 2008.
