Vancouver's BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc. (TSX:BQE) narrowed its quarterly loss after tripling revenue for its third quarter ending September 30, 2008.
Revenue for the industrial water treatment plan operator rose 215% to $4.1 million, up from $1.3 million in 2007's third quarter due primarily to contributions from new operations in China, Australia and Mexico.
The increase in revenue from water treatment fees and the sale of reclaimed metals helped the company narrow its quarterly net loss to $71,000 compared with a loss of $2.5 million in the same period last year.
BioteQ's share price range during the past week: between $1.25 and $0.95; 52-week high: $4.49; 52-week low: $0.71.
