Lions Gate Entertainment inks deal to distribute its movie and TV library online

Lions Gate Entertainment (NYSE:LGF) has partnered with Break.com, an online video website to distribute its library of movies and TV shows.

Lions Gate Entertainment (NYSE:LGF) has partnered with Break.com, an online video website to distribute its library of movies and TV shows.

The two companies plan to find new ways to distribute Lions Gate's library of more than 11,000 movies and television episodes through Break.com's online video website.

The partnership will also give Lions Gate access to Break's talent pool for potential programming, project development and distribution.

A competitor to YouTube, Break.com is aimed at the 18-to-34 male demographic and claims to have more than 17 million visitors a month.

According to Hitwise Media, Break, which also has signed partnerships with NBC Digital Studios and other production companies, is the 11th-ranked online destination for men.
