Vancouver-based Visier Analytics announced Friday that it had closed a US$6 million round of financing led by Foundation Capital.
The local startup develops analytic applications for human resources management. Visier was founded in 2010 by CEO John Schwarz and CTO Ryan Wong.
In a statement on Visier’s blog, Schwarz noted: “While the money is necessary to ensure our company can build and develop, the right investor is much more. They are also a partner who plays an important role in our success and their advice can be invaluable in helping to shape the right strategy. A partner needs to be someone whose advice we respect and who shares a common vision.”
