Real estate promoters at MAC Marketing Solutions are rolling out their inaugural Golden Cube Awards at a March 10 gala to recognize the top realtors that the company did business with in 2010. MAC will also unveil upcoming major projects, including the 35-storey Maddox condominium project that Cressey Development Corp. is building at the corner of Howe and Drake streets.
MAC is a professional services firm that works for real estate developers across western Canada. Indirectly, it works with thousands of independent real estate agents.
“I’ve got over 10,000 agents in my database,” MAC principal Cameron McNeill told Business in Vancouver February 23. “We couldn’t accommodate everybody so we’ve only invited the top 350 agents.”
Last year, MAC marketed projects that sold 1,000 units worth more than $400 million. It competes with marketers such as Rennie Marketing Systems, which announced February 22 that it had sold 128 condos in four days at the troubled former Olympic Village, now named The Village at False Creek.
