Sales and marketing program designer Maximizer Software has embraced cloud computing and become the first customer relationship management (CRM) provider to hook up Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Azure Marketplace.
The Burnaby-based company said its software, which is designed to help business drive more sales and improve marketing efforts, is available through a web-based subscription to the tune of $49 per user per month.
“We are excited to bring 20-plus years of experience and proven success with CRM to the Windows Azure Marketplace,” commented Vivek Thomas, president of Maximizer Software.
“The availability of Maximizer CRM Live from the Windows Azure Marketplace will make it even more convenient for customers to access and start experiencing the power of our full-featured, cloud-based CRM solution.”
Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace is an online market where customers can share, buy and sell software-as-a-service applications and programs.
Maximizer said the new platform is further evidence of its strong relationship with the software giant.
Maximizer’s software will be accessible from anywhere on a computer or mobile device, allowing users to manage sales opportunities, market initiatives and stay in touch with their customers.
