A new Vancouver-based media producer that closed a qualifying transaction on Tuesday in order to begin trading on the TSX Venture Exchange has announced its first project – a series of six mixed martial arts-inspired DVD workouts starring mixed martial arts heavyweight Georges St-Pierre.

Digital Shelf Space (TSX-V:DSS), which describes itself as a creator, producer and distributor of online direct-to-home entertainment content, is designing the workout series, titled GSP RUSHFIT, for the ever-growing MMA audience.

The home-based fitness program is based on body weight intensive circuit training that incorporates MMA-style conditioning exercises.

St-Pierre, or GSP as he is known, is an MMA world champion and fan favourite.

"I am excited to be working with the Digital Shelf Space team to bring my style of MMA training directly to the fans," said St-Pierre in a release.

Digital Shelf Space said in the release its “proprietary technology platform” has been custom built to distribute home entertainment content directly to consumers.”

The platform “blends e-commerce functionality and paid video content delivery,” including DVD, digital download and streaming video formats.

Formerly known as Pypeline Health Inc., Digital Shelf Space completed a reverse takeover on Tuesday in which Palatine Capital Corp., a shell company, acquired all of the 44,437,014 issued and outstanding common shares of Pypeline in exchange for 29,999,416 common shares in Palatine.

In connection with the transaction, Digital Shelf Space completed a private placement of 6,786,327 units at a price of $0.15 per unit for proceeds of a little more than a $1million.
