New Gold Inc. (TSX:NGD) has completed its financing for its copper and gold project near Kamloops, B.C.
New Gold has received $392 million from its public offering of shares announced in May. The money raised will fund the pre-production development of its New Afton project and bring the mine into production.
The offering was conducted by a syndicate of underwriters led by GMP Securities LP, including BMO Nesbit Burns Inc., Orion Securities Inc., Jennings Capital Inc. and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc.
