Legal marketers were the focus of attention at the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Vancouver Chapter 2010 HELM Awards November 25.
The awards honour the best in legal marketing and recognize B.C. law firms that have demonstrated creativity, execution, achievement and overall excellence in legal marketing, business development and communications.
As the only awards program of its kind in the B.C.’s legal-marketing industry, the HELM Awards are open to all sizes and types of law firms with submissions accepted in six categories.
“The HELM Awards is an important event for our association,” said Brenda Plowman, president, LMA Vancouver chapter. “It is an opportunity for us to recognize the dedicated efforts and innovative programs of our members from law firms of all sizes and areas of practice.”
This year’s award winners are:

- Firm identity, promotional and collateral materials: Richards Buell Sutton LLP
- Integrated marketing campaign: FMC Law
- Community relations: Richards Buell Sutton LLP
- Events: Fasken Martineau Dumoulin LLP
- Marketing on a shoe string: Boughton Law Corp.
