The provincial government will begin auctioning off items used during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games this Saturday.
The sale, which is expected to run until June 15, will see everything from televisions to linens to tools auctioned off.
Hockey pucks used in the warm up, regulation time and overtime of the gold medal game will also be up for grabs.
Pucks used in the first three periods of the gold medal game have already sold at auction for between $3,500 and $5,900, while pucks from that game's pre-game warm up have sold for up to $700.
Four pucks used during the overtime period of the gold medal game have been added to the online auction. The puck used to score the game-winning goal is not included in the auction.
Roughly 20 televisions and laptops will be put out at 9 a.m. daily for sale on a first-come, first-served basis.
More than 10,000 items used during the Games or replicas of items that have been signed by athletes will be auctioned off.
Cash-and-carry sales run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the VANOC main distribution centre at 7530 Hopcott Rd. in Delta.
Asset Investment Recovery, a division of the Ministry of Citizens' Services, is administering the auction.
