Richmond wireless company expands globally with contracts worth $2.5 million

DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX:DD) has landed contracts in Finland, India and the U.S. worth more than $2.5 million.

DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX:DD) has landed contracts in Finland, India and the U.S. worth more than $2.5 million.

The contracts for the Richmond company include a new order for 255 mobile data terminals for Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd. of Mumbai, India. The order is part of Orix's plan to buy up to 2,000 mobile data terminals for its fleet of vehicles.

DDS's digital dispatch taxi business unit also signed new long-term contracts with Finland's Taksi Saimaa Oy and Imatran Taksi for the company's Internet dispatching service. The contract is a five-year renewal of a contract that had recently expired.

DDS also secured an order for 530 mobile data terminals from Phoenix, Arizona's AAA Full Transportation.
