Immigrant settlement society S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has hired an international search firm to find a new CEO to fill Thomas Tam’s shoes. Tam has given six months notice that he wants to do something new.

“The decision to leave is a personal one and it has been difficult,” Tam said in a release. “But after two decades with one organization, it is time to move on and explore new opportunities.”

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. chairman Dennis Chan lauded Tam for his work both as COO and later CEO to help grow S.U.C.C.E.S.S. into one of the largest social service agencies in B.C.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has contracted the Vancouver office of international search firm Odgers Berndtson to seek a quality replacement.
