Vancouver's Taseko Mines Ltd. (TSX:TKO) reported a 48% increase in annual net earnings for the fiscal year ending September 30.
Net earnings rose to $48.3 million compared with $32.9 million and annual revenue increased to $218.4 million compared with $161.9 million in fiscal 2006.
Increased revenue from copper sales contributed to the company's stronger performance for the year. Driven by an average per-pound copper price of US$3.30, that revenue rose to $199.9 million from $140.3 million in the same period a year ago.
