Telus Corp. (TSX:T) has acquired a Toronto-based web streaming firm for an undisclosed sum.
Privately held Fastvibe Corp. provides web streaming software that allows online chat, question and answer and polling capabilities. Founded in 2000, its customer base includes Bank of Montreal, Scotiabank, Barrick Gold, Trans Canada Pipelines, Ontario's Ministry of Education and Investors Group. Telus' share price during the past week: between $43.26 and $44.40; 52-week high: $66.45; 52-week low: $41.05.
