Vancouver's Telus Corp. (TSX:T) has signed a 10 year contract worth $87 million with Ville de Montreal.
The contract will provide the city with Internet-based voice and data services for more than 300 administrative offices throughout the city. The contract includes projects to modernize and simplify the city's communications system. Migration from the city's previous communications technology to Telus' centralized Internet-protocol-based system will begin in the fall of 2008.
