Vancouver telecommunications firm Uniserve Communications Inc. (TSX-V:USS) has completed its $12 million acquisition of New Westminster-based broadband services provider Parasun Technologies Inc.
The acquisition will add more than 150,000 high-speed data cable users to Uniserve's existing customer base and expand its reach into the U.S. market, where most of Parasun's business is based.
Parasun provides software and services to U.S. cable and electric utility companies in the U.S.
The acquisition will also expand Uniserve's product offerings and could bolster revenue for both Parasun and Uniserve.
Founded in Aldergrove in 1988, Uniserve has grown to provide voice and data communication services to more than 70,000 business and retail customers across Canada.
