Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE: RBA; TSX: RBA.TO) set new records for traditional and online sales with a US$31 million industrial auction in Atlanta last week.
The auction coincided with the Vancouver-based auctioneering company's US$45 million auction at its permanent sale site in Los Angeles, which also set a new record for online sales of US$13 million.
Its largest-ever Atlanta auction sold more than over 1,100 items in one day for total auction proceeds of US$31 million. Online bidders bought more than US$12 million worth of trucks and other industrial assets.
