Second quarter revenue for Vancouver high-speed broadband Internet provider Metrobridge Networks International Inc. (TSX-V:MEB) rose 97% for the period ending June 30, 2007.
Revenue hit approximately $926,940 compared with $471,530 in 2006's second quarter on the strength of higher sales and increased revenue from other value-added services.
Higher expenses, however, reduced Metrobridge's earnings as the company's quarterly net loss rose 30% to $621,903 from $479,802 in 2006's second quarter.
Despite the higher quarterly loss, the company's business plan still includes entering other markets in North America through acquisition and increasing its customer base.
Metrobridge's share price range during the past week: between $0.35 and $0.35; 52-week high: $0.60; 52-week low: $0.31.
