Mosquito Consolidated Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX-V:MSQ) has acquired Kirkness Diamond Drilling Inc. for US$3 million.
Kirkness, which is based in Carson City, Nevada, has provided drilling services in the western United States since 1991 and will expand Mosquito's U.S. exploration activity.
Mosquito said the current lack of drilling services in North America has limited its ability to complete its exploration program.
Kirkness' drills and staff will be incorporated into Mosquito's drill fleet, but will continue to operate as a drilling contractor in the western U.S.
