Vancouver miner posts another profitable quarter on the strength of stronger silver sales

Net earnings from silver sales for the Vancouver company's second quarter, which ended June 30, rose to $3.7 million from $8.3 million compared with a net loss of $1.5 million from $377,625 in sales in the comparable period a year ago.

Improved sales contributed to Silverstone's strong performance. The company sold 459,000 ounces of silver in the quarter.
