Richmond-based DDS Wireless International Inc. (TSX:DD), which develops management systems for vehicle fleets, has signed a deal with Helsinki, Finland, to provide a dispatch system for the city's new travel centre.
The system will help the city manage its para-transit services and integrate the management of overflow vehicles used by various private operators, including Helsinki Taxi, which is a DDS customer.
The city will use technology from Mobisoft, a company DDS acquired in late 2007.
