Vancouver's Wall Financial Corp. (TSX:WFC) reported a profit of $23.3 million in the first nine months of 2007 compared with $9.6 million in the same period in fiscal 2006. That 143% increase was driven in large part by Wall's revenue, which rose to $179.2 million from $89.8 million, mainly from the real estate sales of Yaletown Park's Tower 3.
The company's hotel revenue also rose to $44.3 million from $43.3 million due to higher room rates.
Wall Financial's share price range during the past week: between $8.99 and $9.15; 52-week high: $9.15; 52-week low: $6.98.
