For the first half of 2007, net earnings for Vancouver's Wall Financial Corp. (TSX:WFC) ballooned on successful real estate sales during the six-month period ending July 31, 2007.
Net profits rose to $19.9 million compared with $5.6 million in the same six-month period in 2006.
The company reported that the increase was due to the sale of 444 condominium units at Tower 3 of its Yaletown Park, which is now fully sold.
Revenue for the period rose to $155.5 million compared with $36.6 million in the first half of 2006.
Wall Financial's share price remained at $7.30 for the past week on minimal trading; 52-week high: $9.15; 52-week low: $6.20.
