Enrolment by Chinese students in U.S. colleges and universities grew by 21.4% during the 2012-13 academic year over the year before, according to a new report.
The 235,000 Chinese students in the U.S. represent 28.7% of the 819,000 international students studying at American institutions.
However, another study has found that one in four Chinese students at American Ivy League universities drops out before completing the full course.
