It’s an ill wind that blows nobody good. In the case of Edmonton’s Moses Lam the ill wind is the air pollution in the Indian capital, New Delhi, which is even worse than in China’s Beijing. This month Lam’s Vitality Air plans to start selling canned air from Banff, a world-famous international tourist destination already well branded for its natural purity, to Indians at $25 to $50 a shot. The pure air comes in three-litre and eight-litre cans of compressed Banff air, complete with a face mask. Lam says his company sucks up Banff air in a “giant vacuum” and processes 150,000 litres at a time.
