Malaysian corporate leaders should at least get a high mark for self-awareness as more than 83% of them admitted in a recent survey that fraud is one of the risks of doing business with them.

The KPMG "Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Survey 2013," polled 100 listed Malaysian companies and found 90% believe that fraud is inevitable when doing business in the country.

Johan Idris, the managing partner at KPMG Malaysia, commented that fraud, bribery and corruption are in danger of becoming part of the mindset of doing business in Malaysia.
