One of the realities of the North Korean “Hermit Kingdom” is that anyone can say anything they like about the country and no one knows if it’s true. Which may explain why a South Korean newspaper is reporting its “sources” are saying North Korea has developed a class of young entrepreneurs who are making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. According to the report, the young masters of the universe sell smartphones and real estate, run gas stations, operate loan companies and run coffee shops, and their main problem is that there’s nothing for them to spend their money on.
