Singapore: City-state tops in adaptability

Singapore has been judged the Asian country best able to adjust to dramatic changes in the world of digital enterprise.

Singapore has been judged the Asian country best able to adjust to dramatic changes in the world of digital enterprise. The Economist Intelligence Unit used 20 indicators to judge the adaptability in what it called the Asian Digital Transformation Index. After Singapore, with an overall score of 73.4, came South Korea with 72.3. Third was Japan with 71.2 points and fourth Taiwan with 64.7. Hong Kong was fifth with 64.5 and Malaysia sixth, but some way behind with 42.1 points. China, seventh, was also behind at 34 points. Thailand was eighth, India ninth, the Philippines 10th and Indonesia 11th
