South Korea's tourist industry is reaping the benefits of the explosion of K-pop and singer Psy's mega-hit "Gangnam Style."
The were more than 10 million visitors to the capital Seoul last year, one million more than in 2012, and this represented about 80% of all 12.18 million visitors to South Korea.
Surveys by officials found that visitors liked Seoul's bustling shopping districts best, followed by the up-market Gangnam district, and the area near Hongik University, which has become a popular nightlife destination.
