The call has gone out for nominations for the 2013 BC Exports Awards.
Any B.C. business that has been exporting a product or service for two or more years is eligible for nominations under the categories of:
- sustainability;
- leadership;
- new exporter;
- professional services;
- manufactured products;
- natural resources;
- advancing technology and innovation;
- consumer products;
- digital media and entertainment;
- international business studies; and
- job creation.
“The manufacturing sector, which employs almost 400,000 British Columbians, plays an integral role in spurring economic activity, and as such, we are pleased to be able to shine the spotlight on the leading organizations within this sector and their outstanding leadership,” said Craig Williams, vice-president for the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, B.C. Division.
