Timberview Developments Ltd. is suing Tough Mudder LLC and Tough Mudder Events Ltd., claiming it hasn’t been paid for building an obstacle course in Whistler for the popular endurance challenge event.
Timberview filed a notice of civil claim in BC Supreme Court on June 27. The construction firm claims it is owed more than $92,000 for the work, including accrued interest. After contacting Tough Mudder LLC, which is based in New York, Timberview was allegedly told to resubmit the invoice to Vancouver-based Tough Mudder Events. Despite resubmitting the invoice, Timberview claims it still hasn’t been paid for the construction services and materials.
Timberview seeks a judgment of $92,555 and pre-judgment and post-judgment interest on the amount.
The allegations have not been proven in court and the defendants had not filed a response by press time.
