A Business in Vancouver Forty under 40 winner is among the six survivors of a plane that crashed on October 27, 2011, near Vancouver International Airport who are filing suit against the plane owner and operator.
The suit against Northern Thunderbird Air Inc. was filed January 18 in BC Supreme Court.
Along with Kelly Jablonski, the other plaintiffs are Ruben Cohen, Jeffery McCord, Cameron Sobolik, Lorelei Sobolik and Troy Zanatta.
Skateboard distributor Jablonski was one of Business in Vancouver’s 2010 40 Under 40 winners in 2010.
The plaintiffs are alleging negligence against the plane operator, and seeking damages for personal injury and loss of property.
None of these allegations has been proven in court.
